I am sorry if I come of as hostile, but that is how you survive, but i do extend common cordiality to people on an individual basis, but I have no shame in saying that I'm a belidgerant asshole to any nameless group that tries to enforce peace by surrender.

Violence is not a answer or a question, but there is this sole fact that keeps me holding to my integrity.

Many people like to throw religeon around, saying that to be a pacifist is to be christ like.
They use Phrases like "Turn the other Cheek".
But in a biblical context, to turn your other cheek is to remove your opponents opportunity to insult you by backhanding you with his right hand. Peace by submission is not an answer. Peace by removing your opponents means to retaliate, that to me seems the way you would reach a momentary "happy medium". Peace can never be indefinite, but that is the only period in which it has truely made sense.

And While I'm on the ranting subject, the Peace sign is a symbol that mostly immerged around the hippie movment of the sixties. A closer look into the scene at the time, the promiscuity and drug use durring the period emerged not as some sort of rapid rebellion against the natural agressiveness the united states has had (remember that the first flag of our country was a rattle snake with the motto "don't tread on me".) The hippie peace craze was a controlled environment. LSD was created by the government, along with a majority of the other things that people tunned into, and them tunning out on what was happening around them only gave the powers that be more of a death grip on the lives of the apathetic american. Peace isn't giving up, it isn't protesting or lobying for change.

Peace is going out and making shit happen, getting shit done. Working hard to better yourself and those around you, showing common courtesy to people, etc. Like i said, Morality. The principle issue i have with liberal systems is they seem to hold values in esteam, but they do not practice them, and you must practice things that you value in order to have strong character, to have a backbone, otherwise people will walk over you. And even if you have peace, someone will come in and subjigate the population and alter the system to thier wimms

But I'm done with my rant there, i would be happy to explain any thing, or debate any of the points i have just stated with you to a further degree.

I was refering to the peace sign in your avatar as a chicken track, i'm suprised that was a rather orignal one to you.

Peace is not a bad concept to me, but some would prefer to achieve peace by surrendering the high ground, which is hard for me to swallow considering i have a strong backbone, which is why I'm not a republican.

I am conservative in my values because thats how i was raised, to hold Morality at my core, no trace of which i see in any political party.

If liberals wanted to save iraqi babies they would pour thier money into schools and hospitals, not politicians pocketbooks. Your blind apathy to what the hell is going on is illogical to me.
